This was unavailable online but I found it for the same price at the local Lowes. I made some custom stair treads out of 2x4s glued on edge. Used this to plane them smooth. Worked really well! Quality is good, overall unit is very good, esp. for the price! Only two things to remember; It's a smaller machine so don't expect to take off a bunch of material in one pass, you won't even be able to get it to feed into the unit. Two, this is a small portable machine, the rollers are close together. That means if you are running long stock you need to keep it very steady to minimize cutting gouges in either end when it slips off the edge of the feed rollers.. Beats about any other portable out there!
